Winnipeg School Division Teacher Collective Agreement

See the entire 2014-2018 collective agreement or certain sections of the collective agreement below: as the holder of Certificate No. (“the teacher”) (a), all references to “teacher” must be read as references to “clinician”, and all references to “taught” must be read as references to “served”; and (b) section 3 should read as follows: The clinician undertakes to perform the duties assigned to him or her by the Department or his superintendent conscientiously, faithfully and in accordance with the laws and regulations of Manitoba and the Code of Rules and his professional responsibilities. The agreement is a legally binding employment contract drawn up during collective bargaining with the employer and the trade union. Note: The Ministry`s seal is required and this Agreement must be provided in accordance with subsection 92(2) of the Public Schools Act. The collective agreement between the Winnipeg School Division and the WTA governs the terms and conditions of employment at the ministry. It serves to define the duties and protect the rights and privileges of workers and employers. .
